これはドビッシーの『金の魚』を流しながら行っド ローウィングパフォーマンス作品です。 曲から私がイメージした香りを空間に充満させ、その 香りからイメージする色を、用意した10色の中から 観客の方々に選んで頂きました。その中で最も多くの 人に選ばれた上位 3 色を使っています。
この作品の大きなテーマは共感覚です。ドビッシは
『金色の魚』をある漆絵から発想を得て作曲したと言
われています。またこの曲は『映像』と名付けられた 曲集の中の 1 曲でもあります。即ち彼は目に見える絵 画を見えない音楽へと表現を変換したのです。この作 品ではその音楽を私が香りへ、香りを観客が色へと変 換し、それをまた私が目に見える絵画表現へと還して います。その瞬間にその場にいた方々と共有した、香 り、音楽を孕んだ空間を、観客の持つそれぞれ異なっ たイメージと私自身の感覚を錬成しそれを身体の動き に落とし込むことによって表現しているのです。 ここでは香り、音楽、そして絵画の間に甲乙は存在し ません。相互関係を保った輪の上にそれぞれの3要素 が成立しているのです。

 I have done this drawing performance with a music (Poisson d’ or by Debussy). One particular
smell which I had chosen from my image of the song was spread in the air and asked audience which color they have imagined form the smell. About 7 -10 colors had prepared in advance and they chose each one of them. Then I adapted three of those colors which were chosen by people most.
The theme of this work is Synesthesia. It is said that Debussy composed『Poisson d’ or』inspired by some Laquer painting with golden fish drown. Sohe expressed very visual paint into music which is invisible. Then I am expressing his music into smell and audience are turning it into colors. In the end, I’ m going to bring it back to drawing which you can visually recognize. I represent the space all of us shared at that moment containing the smell and music by cooperating with people’ s different visual images they hold  and my authentic inspiration which will be expressed by my pure physical movement. There is no hierarchy between smell, music and painting　in this work but exist in a same circle with reciprocity.
